Next Sundays Competition is the start of the Christmas Hampers which will be run over 5 Sundays using the same format as GOTY. Entry 7. All money taken in will be given out in hampers (Minimium 15 Hampers).

On Saturday the Kerry Intermedite team played Ceann Sibeal in Ceann Sibeal with the home team winning 2up. Dan O'Connor and Barry O'Grady were 4up after 18, David Linnane and Mark Culhane were 1 down after 18 and John Lohan and Terry O'Connor were 5 down after 18.

Next Sundays Competition is the Master Classic for the Top 30 in the Golfer of the Year. This competition is sponsored by Moriarty's Centra Ballyheigue. For those that didnt qualify for the Master Classic there is an 18 hole Single Stableford with tee times from 10.30 to 1pm. On Sunday their will be a free meal after the golf for everyone playing in both competitions. There will be a choice of chicken curry or beef stroganoff.

The Nines of Kerry final between Ballyheigue and Ardfert took place in Castlegregory on last Saturday with Adrfert winning the final match on the 20th hole to win 3-2. John Barrett and Ann Leahy lost 2&1. Maurice McElligott and Marie McMahon won 5&4. Joesph O'Connor and Ena O'Brien lost on the 22nd hole. Declan McCann and John Lohan won 4&2. Lorraine Canty and Kathleen Gilbride lost on the 20th.

Next Sundays Competition is an Open Mixed Classic. Teams of 4. 100 per team. Timehseet available in the clubhouse.

On Friday the finals of the Singles and Fourball Matchplay took place. In the Singles Matchplay Vincent Linnane won 2 & 1 against Declan McCann. This competition is sponsored by Dermot Dowling. In the Fourball Matchplay Maurice McElligott and Pat Dillane won 4 & 3 against Padraig Dineen and Noel Gilbride. This competition is sponsored by Tim Joe Griffin, The OlD Attic Bar, Ballybunion.

Congratulations to David Linnane who after yesterday has won the 2015 Golfer of the Year which is sponsored by Richard O'Reilly.

The format is 3 mixed scotch foursomes, 1 ladies fourball and 1 mens fourball. John Barrett and Ann Leahy won 2 & 1. Joseph O'Connor and Ena O'Brien won 3 & 2. Jamsey McGrath and Marie McMahon lost 4 & 3. Lorraine Canty and Kathleen Gilbride won 6 & 5. Declan McCann and John Lohan were called in and were 3 up playing the 15th.
